Abby Cuomo

Abby is from Long Island, New York. She attended Stony Brook University where she did Molecular Dynamics simulations of phosphorylated amino acids and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein under Dr. Carlos Simmerling. Outside of chemistry, Abby enjoys going to the gym, traveling and watching baseball. Abby is also 1-1 on food challenges (see pic).

Her research involves creating machine learning models for asymmetric reactions and exploring catalytic pathways using DFT.
