Jacob Newman

Jacob grew up in the Twin Cities and San Diego. He graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in chemistry in 2023. At UCLA, he worked in the Harran lab on the synthesis of peptidomimetic macrocycles. Outside of lab, he enjoys watching movies, hiking, and traveling. 

Jacob is interested in the total synthesis of complex natural products.
